Art Bauer

PRESIDENT

I have been on the Villa Trinidad board for 8 years and three years as President. Enjoyed every year improving the value of the Homeowners Association with overseeing fence projects and being involved with the landscape committee.

I work for the Marine Corp at Pendleton and MCAS Miramar.

I graduated from University of Pittsburgh in Business Administration.

I have two grown children that live outside of California.

Terry Lutz

VICE PRESIDENT

Hello, my name is Terry Lutz. I have lived in Villa Trinidad for 19 years.

I am a current member of the H.O.A. Board and have enjoyed working with my fellow Board members and other members of our neighborhood to improve our community.

I hope I will have the chance to continue to be an active member of our H.O.A. Board. I really want to help bring this community to its full potential.

Joe Hammond

TREASURER

My wife and I moved to Villa Trinidad in 2002 and found it to be a great neighborhood to raise our three kids. The kids are older now and we’re empty-nesters, but we still enjoy organizing the neighborhood events.

My wife and I head up the social committee where we plan the Easter Egg Hunts, Halloween activities, and instituted concerts and summer movies in the park. I’ve served on the Board of Directors for most of the years that we’ve lived here, assisted with the park renovations in 2012, and will always be an active member of the community.

Tamara Hodges

SECRETARY

My husband and I have lived in the Villa Trinidad community for over 20 years. I have had the pleasure of serving on the board for a number of those years.

As a board member I was involved with the front park renovation several years ago.

I was part of the paint committee when we picked new paint colors for our homes, and of course the weekly maintenance and landscaping projects that help to maintain the value and beauty of our neighborhood.

I enjoy being a part of the membership team and helping to make our community a place where family and friends can come together and enjoy themselves.

Brian Snyder

DIRECTOR AT LARGE

My family and I have called Villa Trinidad home since January 2012, and it’s been a joy to be part of such a wonderful community. I hold a bachelor’s degree from UCSD and spent 23 years in the diamond industry, where I had the opportunity to travel the world and immerse myself in diverse cultures. I’m also a certified home inspector and spent two decades as a professional musician, recording and performing with artists from across the globe.  

Now retired at 47, I cherish spending time with my children, exploring new destinations, and giving back to our community through my work with the HOA board. Over the years, I’ve been proud to contribute to projects like negotiating the paving of our streets, clearing fire breaks, and collaborating with the city to enhance our quality of life. It’s truly a privilege to dedicate my time and efforts to ensuring the safety and well-being of our neighborhood.

HOA Board Member Duties

The Villa Trinidad Board of Directors are responsible for maintaining the reputation of our community, managing the financial assets of the Homeowner's Association, and planning for the future.

Our Board consists of five members, who are elected to serve a 2-year term. The Officers are elected by the Board members and include President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and Director at Large.

All homeowners are encouraged to become involved with a Committee or the Board. Input from many neighbors is vital to keeping the Board active and attuned to the needs and concerns of our residents.
